The site address settings are found under the 'My Account' tab in the top navigation of the editor. This is where you add & manage domain names for your site.
1) Choose subdomain: Simply write the name you want to use in the field and press 'Search'. If the name is not already taken, you can use it on your site.
2) Attach an externally registered domain to the site: If you already have a domain name that has been registered with another registrar, then you can redirect your site to that domain. This procedure requires 2 steps:
First log in to at the domain host. Go to DNS-settings and set an 'A-RECORD' and then two 'CNAME'.
You can redirect your domain to our IP-adress 184.108.40.206 as follow:
DITDOMÆNE.dk -> A -> 220.127.116.11
www -> CNAME -> site.geo.monosolutions.com
m -> CNAME -> site.geo.monosolutions.com
If you wish that Mono should host your e-mail account, then you can setup the following settings:
DITDOMÆNE.dk -> mx -> mx.DITDOMÆNE.dk.cust.b.hostedemail.com
mail -> cname -> mail.DITDOMÆNE.dk.cust.b.hostedemail.com
If you are a reseller of mono solutions the settings are slightly different. Find a guide here http://monoxtranet.mono.net/
After the settings above are in place, you need to add the domain under the ”My Account/ Site address/Domains”-tab. Insert the customer domain name (example: mydomain.com) and click on "Redirect domain". This should be done AFTER step 1.
Setting a domain on page level
If you have attached more than one domain to your site you may connect your different domains to specific pages on your website.
This feature is very helpful if you use the page as a landing page.
